1.How is "ICLA" represented for?

The ICLA represents for " The International Caring for Life Awards¡¨ incepted by Dharma Drum Humanities & Social Improvement Foundation based in Taiwan since 2008.

7.Must I be a Taiwanian citizen to apply for an ICLA award ?
Global citizens are all eligible and welcome to apply for the awards under the terms for application of the ICLA .

8.What do the ICLA winners get when they win?
Those who won in any category will receive a NT$300,000 cash award , a medal statued trophy and a certificate of citation. The Special Contribution Award is always awarded to a person who has been engaging in preventing suicidal behaviour, alleviating its effects, and providing effective methods and/or skills on caring for life in general , amongst academians, mental health professionals, crisis workers, volunteers and suicide survivors who had made a significant contribution and influence to the global society.

9.What are the criteria for the judging of The International Caring for Life Awards?
There are certain set criteria for the choosing of the winners. The definitions of each category of award (see Definitions ) are the general guidelines. The Nominating Juries will be screening of the finalist and The Judging Committee to determine the winners.

11.Is there an ICLA logo?
No, there is no logo for The ICLA. However, there appear the visual image on the ICLA web site as well as certain official printed materials , and so on.

12. Who designed the ICLA metallic statued trophy?
The metallic statued trophy was designed by Taiwanian sculptor Mr. Lin Mu-Chuan.
